Crate training for balance, comfort and a safe place to relax.
Very important in any training program. Allowing the dog to offer an entry and eventually a ’settle’ behavior in the crate creates a positive emotional response to the crate. Crates are great for management with puppies and adult dogs, in the home, when traveling, at dog sporting events… So it is worth the time to teach this ‘game’

NOTE – The crate should never be used as a place of isolation and/or punishment

NOTE NOTE – crates should never be used for ‘extended’ periods of time (except at night when all are sleeping) – it is physically and emotionally hard on animals. 4-5 hours tops… no joke!
